Philip asks Jesus, “Show us God.” Jesus answers by pointing to the life the disciples have already watched: teaching, healing, feeding, welcoming, restoring. Then Jesus makes the startling claim that his followers will continue that work. In a noisy season, Christians can be tempted to spend more energy proving a point than embodying the character of Jesus. This week asks: If someone wanted to know what God is like by watching us, what would they see?
