Pastor Jeff has served Monroe UMC since 2022, his most recent appointment in ministry since beginning at 1994. He grew up on a farm in west central Ohio and entered ministry after teaching high school math and serving as technology coordinator for a vocational school. He holds degrees from Wright State (Bachelor of Science in Secondary Mathematics Education, University of Dayton (Master of Science in Educational Administration), and United Theological Seminary in Dayton (Master of Divinity). Jeff was ordained Elder in the West Ohio Conference of the UMC in 1998. He has served four other congregations, as well as the former Northwest Plains District Assistant to the Superintendent. He is married and has two children.
