Scripture: Psalm 19:1–6; Job 38:1–11
Modern life can make people numb. Endless scrolling, packed schedules, constant noise, and relentless stress leave little room for wonder.
Yet scripture repeatedly invites us to pay attention to creation. The heavens declaring glory. Oceans held in place. Morning light breaking through darkness. Rain nourishing dry ground.
Job receives not easy answers to suffering, but a renewed sense of awe. God reminds Job that life is larger, deeper, and more mysterious than human beings can fully grasp.
Wonder does not erase pain or hardship. But it does reawaken perspective.
Trinity Sunday points us toward a God who creates beauty, sustains life, and remains mysteriously present within the world even now.
Sometimes the most spiritual thing a weary person can do is pause long enough to notice beauty again.
A sunset. Children laughing. Birds singing after rain. A quiet conversation. Fresh air through an open window. Small reminders that goodness still exists.
Reflection Question: What helps you reconnect with wonder, gratitude, or awe?
Action Step: Spend fifteen minutes outside today without multitasking. Simply notice the world around you.
Prayer: Creator God, awaken my sense of wonder again. Help me notice beauty, goodness, and signs of your presence in the world around me. Amen.
