Wednesday, 10/15/2025: Servants at Heart

Scripture: Philippians 2:3–7 (Click to read text)

Key Verse: “In humility value others above yourselves.” (Philippians 2:3)

Paul paints a picture of Christ’s heart—humble, self-giving, and focused on others. Jesus didn’t cling to privilege. He stepped down into our world, washing feet, healing wounds, sharing meals, and offering his life.
We’re invited to mirror that heart—to live not for applause or advantage but for love. In a me-first world, servanthood is countercultural. Yet it’s the path to real joy.
When you serve, you reflect the image of the One who served you first.

Reflection Question: What would it look like to take on the mindset of Christ in one relationship or situation today?

Action Step: Practice “others first” thinking—pause before responding and ask, “How can I bless this person?”

Prayer: Jesus, shape my heart to serve. Make me quick to notice, slow to judge, and eager to love. Amen.
