Training the Mind - Thursday, 01/15/2026
Scripture: Philippians 4:8–9
Paul knew something we’re still learning: what we dwell on shapes who we become.
In a world filled with alarming headlines, endless comparisons, and constant noise, joy requires intentional focus. Paul invites us to give attention to what is true, life-giving, and worthy of reflection.
Joy isn’t accidental. It’s cultivated.
Reflection Question:
What voices or inputs most shape your thoughts right now?
Concrete Practice:
Limit one fear-producing input today and replace it with something life-giving.
Prayer:
God, train my mind toward what brings life and peace. Amen.
