The Courage to Go Home Differently

Scripture: Romans 12:1–2

The Magi don’t dramatically overthrow Herod. They simply choose not to return to him. Their faith shows up as a quiet refusal to cooperate with fear and violence.

Romans calls this transformation—allowing God to reshape how we think, choose, and act. Change often begins not with big gestures, but with small, faithful redirections.

Most meaningful change happens this way: one conversation handled differently, one habit adjusted, one boundary set, one act of courage taken.

Going home by another way doesn’t mean your life changes overnight. It means your direction changes—and that’s enough.

Reflection Question:
Where might God be inviting you to take a different path?

Action Step:
Choose one small decision today that reflects trust instead of fear.

Prayer:

God, renew my mind and guide my steps as I learn to walk a new way. Amen.
