Saturday, 11/01/2025: Hope for the Future
Scripture: Jeremiah 29:11
We often quote this verse when life is uncertain, but it was first spoken to people in exile — waiting, confused, unsure of what was next. God’s words weren’t quick fixes; they were promises of faithful presence.
Even when life feels off course, God’s plans are still unfolding. Sometimes His “future and hope” arrive more slowly than we’d like, but they always come. Waiting on God isn’t wasted time; it’s formation time.
God’s plan isn’t just for success — it’s for transformation. The good future He promises is one that shapes us into people of trust and gratitude.
Reflection Question: Where are you waiting for God’s plan to unfold in your life right now?
Action Step: Write down one worry about your future. Pray over it daily this week, releasing it into God’s hands.
Prayer: Faithful God, thank You for holding my future. Help me trust Your timing and Your plan, even when I can’t see it clearly. Amen.
