Noticing Differently: Wednesday, 04/22/2026

Scripture: Numbers 13:17–23

Before fear took over, the spies saw something incredible. The land was good—so good that they carried back fruit as proof. It was tangible, visible evidence of what was possible.

Sometimes we forget to notice what is good because we’re so focused on what might go wrong. Fear narrows our vision. It trains us to look for problems instead of possibilities.

But faith invites us to pay attention differently. To notice what is good. To recognize what is already present. To see the evidence of hope in front of us.

This doesn’t mean ignoring challenges. It means not letting challenges be the only thing we see. What if part of overcoming fear is simply learning to notice differently?

Reflection Question: What evidence of something good in my life have I been overlooking?

Action Step: Write down three good things happening in your life right now.

Prayer: God, open my eyes to see the good that is already present. Help me not miss it. Amen.
