Is There Any Hope Beyond Death? - Saturday, 05/09/2026
Scripture: Revelation 21:1–5
When fear about the future grows, it often centers on what could go wrong—decline, loss, pain, and ultimately death. It can feel like the story is moving toward something uncertain and heavy.
Revelation offers a different ending. It paints a picture of renewal—of a world where pain is not permanent, where grief is not the final word.
“God will wipe every tear from their eyes.” That image is deeply personal. It speaks not just of a distant future, but of a God who sees every moment of pain and promises restoration.
This kind of hope doesn’t ignore the present. It strengthens us to face it. It reminds us that what we are experiencing now is not the end of the story.
When we hold onto that promise, it changes how we live today. We can move forward—not without fear—but with hope that is stronger than fear.
Reflection Question: How does hope for the future change how you face today?
Action Step: Take a short walk today and reflect on one thing you are hopeful for.
Prayer: God, remind me that my story is held in your hope, not my fear. Amen.
