Is God with Me?: Tuesday, 04/21/2026

Scripture: Exodus 3:7–12

When God called Moses, his first response wasn’t confidence—it was doubt. “Who am I?” he asked. He could see all the reasons he wasn’t the right person.

God didn’t respond by boosting Moses’ self-esteem. God didn’t say, “You’ve got this.” Instead, God said, “I will be with you.” The answer to Moses’ fear wasn’t his ability—it was God’s presence.

We often think we need to feel ready before we act. But most of the time, we don’t. We feel uncertain, underqualified, or overwhelmed. Fear convinces us that we need more before we begin.

But what if the real question isn’t “Am I enough?” What if the better question is “Is God with me?” Because if the answer is yes, that changes everything.

Reflection Question: Where am I waiting to feel ready before taking a step?

Action Step: Take one small step today in something you’ve been delaying—without waiting to feel fully prepared.

Prayer: God, remind me that I don’t go alone. Help me trust your presence more than my doubts. Amen.
