Friday, 10/31/2025: Alive to God

Scripture: Romans 6:9–14 (click to read)

Paul reminds us that following Jesus is about living differently — alive to grace, dead to the things that pull us away from God. That doesn’t mean perfection; it means direction. Our lives move toward love, not away from it.

To live “alive to God” is to let His Spirit shape our choices. It’s saying, “God, I want my actions to reflect Your heart.” Every time we choose forgiveness over bitterness, peace over anger, or generosity over greed, we practice resurrection.

Freedom in Christ is not about rules — it’s about relationship. We are not bound by guilt or shame, but set free to live in joy and purpose.

Reflection Question: What’s one area of life where you sense God inviting you to live more freely?

Action Step: Replace one old habit this week with a grace-filled one — speak encouragement where you used to complain.

Prayer: God, thank You for setting me free to live with hope and love. Help me to live like someone fully alive in You. Amen.
