Scripture: Joshua 1:6–9

Devotion

Joshua stood in a moment of transition. The past was behind him, and the future was in front of him. And God’s message was clear: “Be strong and courageous… for I am with you.”

Courage didn’t come from certainty. It came from presence. God didn’t promise an easy path—just a faithful companion.

That’s still the promise today. You may not know exactly how things will unfold. You may still feel some fear. But you are not stepping forward alone.

Sometimes the most important step is simply the next one. Not the whole journey. Not the full solution. Just the next faithful move.

Reflection Question: What is one next step I sense God inviting me to take?

Action Step: Take that step today—even if it’s small.

Prayer: God, give me the courage to take the next step, trusting that you are with me. Amen.
