Admit We Need New Birth - 03/02/2026

Scripture: John 3:1–8 (NRSV)

Nicodemus comes at night. He is accomplished, respected, spiritually informed — and still searching. Jesus tells him, “No one can see the kingdom of God without being born from above.”

Beginning again is not about self-improvement. It is about transformation. Nicodemus wants clarification; Jesus offers re-creation.

Sometimes we try to tweak our habits, adjust our schedules, or improve our image when what we truly need is renewal at the core.

To begin again means admitting that information is not enough. We need God’s Spirit to breathe new life into tired hearts.

Reflection Question:
Where have you been trying to manage change instead of receiving renewal?

Action Step:
Spend five quiet minutes today praying simply: “Spirit of God, breathe new life into me.”

Prayer:
Breath of Life, renew what has grown weary in me. Give me courage to be changed. Amen.
