Youth Leader Application

Text Box: Monroe UMC Youth Ministries

As we look to build the Kingdom through this youth ministry,

we know any one person would be hard pressed to carry the

burden alone. That’s why we need YOU!

We are looking to build a team of adults that would be

committed to the spiritual growth of the Jr. High/Sr. High

Students here at Monroe UMC.

Depending on each youth leaders gifts, talents, and

personal schedules, a “Youth Leader” might attend youth

group each week, a youth leader might lead an in-home

Bible-study or small group, a youth leader might teach a

youth Sunday School class, or be asked to attend school

events, to support any youth from our church who might be

participating extra-curricularly.

The list could go on and on. However, it our goal that in each of these different tasks, an ideal youth leader would help grow the ministry here at Monroe UMC by mentoring young people, investing in their lives and bringing fresh vision for the future.

If you are considering Youth Leadership, please read through the short list of requirements below, fill out the attached application, and return it to Brittany Henson, Monroe UMC Youth Pastor.

Youth Leadership Requirements:

  • Have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, spending time in prayer and daily devotion on your own and willingly accept the accountability of fellow youth leaders.
  • Complete a back-ground check. (Instructions are available)
