Parent’s
Informational Survey As a Youth
Pastor, I have many ideas for successful activities, service projects,
mission trips, discipleship experiences, etc. However, I also know that just because
a certain activity was successful at one church, does not mean it will be
successful at all churches. The future success of this youth ministry will be
built not on activities that have been successful elsewhere, but instead by
those activities and projects that the Lord wants for this church, for these
youth, for right now. You have
had the chance to hear about some of the activities and spiritual growth
opportunities I have implemented at churches in the past. However, I want to
know what activities, projects, thoughts, and new ideas God has already been
laying on your hearts. Please
answer the questions below. It is preferred that you sign your name, however,
if you want to remain anonymous, you may do so as well. Brittany

____________________ Youth Leadership: As we look to build the Kingdom
through this youth ministry, we know any one person would be hard pressed to do
that alone. We are looking to build a team of adults that would be committed
to seeing spiritual growth in the youth here at Monroe. Depending on each
youth leaders gifts, talents, and personal schedules, a “Youth Leader” might
attend youth group each week, a youth leader might lead an in-home
Bible-studies or small group, a youth leader might teach a youth Sunday
School class, or be asked to attend school events, to support any youth from
our church who might be participating extra-curricularly. In each of these
different tasks, an ideal youth leader would help grow the ministry here at
Monroe UMC by mentoring young people, and helping the Youth Pastor to vision
for the future. Would you
be interested to serve as a Youth Leader? Circle one: y
or no |

Future Planning: Lastly, as we look toward the future
for this ministry and these young people, we want to know your thoughts and
goals. What topics
would you like your young person to learn about during their time in this
youth ministry? (List any/all that come to mind) |
