Hornet Haven Hornet Haven is a before- and after-school care ministry of Monroe United Methodist Church serving children who attend Kindergarten through 6th grade and operates during the school year.  The program features a weekly theme and Christian character development words.  Children are offered a variety of activities including large and small muscle play, arts and crafts, science, music and audio-visuals.  A nutritious snack is served in the afternoon. Hornet Haven offers a summer enrichment day care program for school-age children Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.   The summer program centers around a weekly theme and offers swimming, field trips, and other fun activities.
