Special Children’s Activities

Children’s Library – Videos, books and resources are available to enrich our spiritual growth in             families.  Check with the Director of Children’s ministry for details.

3rd Grade Bible Ministry – We believe it is important for our children to make it a habit to begin     reading the Bible.  All third graders receive a copy of the Holy Bible.  These are typically presented in one of our services of worship in the fall of the year.

MC900024574[1]Summer Camping Ministry – Many of us have fond memories as kids at church camp.  We work to provide opportunities for our kids to experience church       camps.  Such camps are available through the West Ohio Conference of the   United Methodist Church.  Check with the Director of Children’s.

Winter Family Event – A variety of events are offered in the season of winter.  Movies, food, and fellowship are characteristics of these gatherings.

MC900134537[1]Back to School Sunday Each year we begin the school year with a special service of blessing for students, families, and educators.  We support our local schools and continually pray for their safety and learning.

Promotion Sunday/Bible Ceremony – Each Fall we recognize our youth as they move on to the next grade level. Special recognition is given in our services of worship. Bibles are given to those going into 4th grade.

Children’s Ministries Coin Drive/Mission project – We believe it is important to lead the next generation in the importance of serving and giving.  As disciples we are to follow Christ in                sharing the message of Good News to others.  This on-going event helps us achieve that goal.
