From our Pastor

Dear Cyber Searcher:

Welcome to our web page. Have you recently moved? Are you feeling pretty well settled into the new place? Looking for more information about Churches in the area? I know that our web page is not the easiest to find, so you must be pretty determined to find what you are looking for. I hope that something on this site helps answer the questions that you are asking.

If you have gotten this far, are you willing to take the next step? The best way to find out what we are all about is to come worship with us some Sunday morning. We will not make you stand up and introduce yourself. We will not ask you what made you decide to come. We will not ask you what happened if you decide not to come back. Most of us do, however, try to be friendly when we meet someone new. We try to be helpful if you have questions about where things are or what is going on. Most of us remember when we first stopped in to see what was going on.

We like to think of ourselves as a medium size community Church. Most of the folks who are here are likely to be your neighbors. A number of community activities like soccer, Hornet Haven latchkey program, and scouts are among the groups that also meet here. Although we were founded (1823) when the city was formed, we know that we are always changing and are excited about what might happen next. We have three services on Sunday morning: a traditional service at 8:30 and 10:45 and a more informal service at 9:30 in our multipurpose room.

If you would like to talk to me personally, I would be glad to be available.

Sincerely,
